Meet usually once or twice per week to walk/hike Rock Creek Park in DC. Beginner to Intermediate pace, mostly flat gentle trails but mix in intermediate hiking. Mostly 45 minutes to an hour. This is a group for hikers who are looking for short hikes. You needn't be a novice to join.  Many of the hikes are moderate to difficult, but all are under 5 miles.  The hikes will be labeled as "easy" (mainly flat, walking), "moderate" (a mix of some hills and flat trail) or "strenuous/difficult" (steep hills or rock scrambling).
